1When is the last day to register?
The last day to register for the Perth Running Festival is the 7th of October 2023.
2Do children need to be accompanied?
Yes, children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
3What are the start times for each distance?
Burswood Park 4km Dash start 9:40AM*
10km start 9:30AM*
Half Marathon start 8AM*
Marathon start 6:30AM*

4When is the bib collection?
Bib collection will be held at Crown Astral Ballroom, Room 3 on Friday 6th October between 10AM - 7PM, and Saturday 7th October between 10AM - 4PM.
5Is there postage available for my parcel pack?
Parcel pack postage is available for $15 and needs to be selected during registration, cutoff date for it is september 15th.

6When will my race pack be posted out?
Race packs will be posted after the postal cutoff on 15th September, during the week of the 18th of September.
7When will my wave start
Please follow the below start and assembly times for your chosen race distance, remember that all waves are self seeded and to follow relevant signage on the day for your starting position.

8Can I drop off my clothes before the race?
We offer a clothing drop off service for all participants, available only at Pack Pick Up as you collect your bib. There will be no clothing drop off on Race Day.
9I am no longer able to participate in the event. Can I withdraw and get a refund?
You can withdraw from the event; however, due to health and safety concerns we don’t offer refunds or transfers as per our terms and conditions.
10Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Unfortunately due to health and safety concerns all registrations are non-transferable and passing on race bibs and/or timing chip devices is prohibited.
11I have lost or never received my confirmation email, can I have it resent?
If you have accidentally entered the wrong email, please send us an email with your details, and we can update your registration from the admin area. Email’.
12Will there be parking available on the event day at the Optus Stadium?
Strictly limited event parking available at Belmont Park. Due to road closures after 5.30am, Belmont Park is accessible from Graham Farmer Freeway eastbound only. Event organisers strongly recommend participants use the free Transperth event services.
13Is public transport free with my registration?
Yes! Transperth trains will be offering free public transport to all participants to and from Optus Stadium (Subject to Transperth train availability). Please note that stadium busses will NOT be operating.

The joint ticketing entitlement will be included in participant’s registration to the event. This means registrations include travel on all Transperth services from first service, during and three hours after the event for participants.
14Do I need to wear my race bib while on course?
You must wear your assigned race bib for emergency and security reasons while also giving you your official race time and access to Marathon Photos post event.
15If I change my event, what do I do with my current race bib?
If you have changed event length or wave and have received your bib via a postal pack, you will be required to attend the Expo to swap the bib.
16How can I apply for a preferred start?
Complete the registration form and include your most recent race results, including proof of time.

Please note that not all applications will be accepted. Once you have been accepted you will receive a registration code allowing you into the Priority Start wave.
17What wave should I choose?
We recommend choosing your start group based on your estimated finish time listed in the Event Distance drop down. If you want to run with friends it is best to work out a similar pace and enter the same start group.

Please note that the priority wave is via application only, should you wish to enter this wave, please contact Info@perthrunningfestival.com.au.
You are permitted to change your wave if the wave you wish to enter has not sold out and still has available positions. Please follow this link and login to your race roster account, once logged in you can view your registration. Click PRODUCTS in order to change your wave selection.
18I’ve already registered but I want to join a team.
Please follow this link and login to your race roster account, once logged in you can view your registration, including whether or not you are a part of a team, and you can add a team additionally.
19What Road Closures will be in place for the event?
To ensure the safety of all Perth Running Festival participants and the general public, the following road closures will be in place on event day. Please be aware that surrounding streets may be affected.

20Can I run with my dog?
Only official guide, support or working dogs are allowed on course. No other animals will be allowed.
21Can I have a supporter ride a bike next to me?
No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners. Any transgression will result in disqualification from the event.

23How do I transfer my event?
You can submit a request to transfer your event here. Please note the transfers are limited to one per participant.
24Wheelchair Races
Racing wheelchair entrants are invited to compete in the Wheelchair Marathon and the Wheelchair 4km Race using a recognized racing wheelchair.
Non-Racing wheelchairs can compete in the 4KM and Marathon events. However for your safety and others we recommend affixing a flag to your wheelchair and starting from the read of the starting field in each event.
25What public transport is available?
Your registration for Perth Running Festival includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the event. Simply wear your race bib and jump on board. See times and plan your journey HERE

27What time does the event conclude?
The event concludes at 1pm with the event village open until 2pm
28Where will the runners finish and can I watch?
The runners will finish inside the stadium on the turf. Gates D, D & E will be open for spectators to enter the venue and watch from the Level 1 west seating bowl, between aisles 126 and 135.
29Will other patron security checks be conducted?
Security staff will be in the stadium seating bowl, field of play and Northern Oval precinct.
30Will there be food and drink to purchase?
Food and beverage will be available to purchase from food trucks on the Northern Oval and at City View Cafe (open 7:00am - 3:00pm)
31Will first aid be on site?
St Johns medical crews will be present inside the stadium and Stadium Park (Northern Oval and roaming around Gate D)
32Is the stadium a smoke-free venue?
Smoking and vaping inside the stadium is prohibited. Smoking and vaping is permitted external to the venue, 5m from the gates.
