PARKING

Strictly limited event parking available at Belmont Park. Due to road closures after 3.30am, Belmont Park is accessible from Graham Farmer Freeway eastbound only. Event organisers strongly recommend participants use the free Transperth event services.

 
 

CLOTHING DROP OFF SERVICE

A Clothing Drop Off Service is available for participants to leave a few pieces of clothing, to be collected post-race. You will be required to visit race pack collection during operating hours as there is strictly no clothing dropoff on race day.

Each participant is permitted one clothing drop off bag, and must use the bag provided at the clothing drop off service.

Event staff may examine any item before accepting it at clothing drop off and have the right to refuse items.

Please do not place valuables such as wallets, keys, phones etc. in your bag. Event organisers take no responsibility for the contents of any bag, for theft, damage or loss of property of any kind.

Clothing can be collected at the Clothing Collection Point.

 

CLOTHING DROP OFF PROCEDURE

1. Collect your race pack.

2. Place the bag tag (provided by volunteers at the drop-off desk) onto the bag provided at the drop-off desk.

3. Insert post-race items only into the bag. (you are not permitted to put items inside another bag, backpack, handbag, luggage, container etc. as we must be able to see the items in each bag)

4. Drop off at the clothing drop-off area at Race Pack collection during operating hours.

COURSE HYDRATION

There are aid stations at set intervals of each course to keep you well hydrated on race day. With water available on all courses, and Gatorade on course for the Half Marathon and Marathon at select aid stations, thanks to our Race Hydration Partner Gatorade! Marathon runners will also receive LVL UP Energy Gels twice along the course!

Do children need to be accompanied?
Yes, children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian who is also registered to run in the same distance.
Wheelchair Use
Non-Racing wheelchairs can compete in the 4KM and 10km events. However for your safety and others we recommend affixing a flag to your wheelchair and starting from the read of the starting field in each event.
Does my finisher shirt get posted?
For Marathon and Half Marathon finishers who had their race bib posted you will collect your finisher shirt on race day from the finish precinct.
Can I drop off my clothes before the race?
We offer a clothing drop off service for all participants, available only at Pack Pick Up as you collect your bib. There will be no clothing drop off on Race Day.
Do I need to wear my race bib while on course?
You must wear your assigned race bib for emergency and security reasons while also giving you your official race time and access to Marathon Photos post event.

Can I run with my dog?
Only official guide, support or working dogs are allowed on course. No other animals will be allowed.
Can I have a supporter ride a bike next to me?
No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners. Any transgression will result in disqualification from the event.
What time does the event conclude?
The event concludes at 1pm with the event village open until 2pm *Subject to change
Where will the runners finish and can I watch?
The runners will finish inside the stadium on the turf. Gates A, D & E will be open for spectators to enter the venue and watch from the Level 1 west seating bowl, between aisles 126 and 135. We encourage spectators to enter where possible via gate A to avoid delays crossing race routes.
Will there be food and drink to purchase?
Food and beverage will be available to purchase from food trucks on the Northern Oval and at City View Cafe (open 7:00am - 3:00pm)

Will first aid be on site?
St Johns medical crews will be present inside the stadium and Stadium Park (Northern Oval and roaming around Gate D)
Is public transport included in my registration?
Yes, all Perth Running Festival registrants are entitled to free public transperth train services on race day, with some early morning trains running to get you to the start line on time, just wear your race bib and hop on board!
